RCWS Meeting - Rob Altenburg, PennFuture
Mar 19, 2026

Rob brings a career’s worth of environmental, climate, and energy expertise to his advance clean energy solutions for Pennsylvania. As Energy Center director, he analyzes and provides expert comments and testimony on legislation and regulations. He works with regulatory agencies and clean energy industry experts on climate and energy issues and provides technical assistance and research on methane and fossil fuel impacts. Rob speaks extensively throughout Pennsylvania to students, community groups, and other organizations on climate and energy issues.

Rob has also provided testimony to the U.S. Environmental Protection and the White House and co-authored a chapter on federal climate policy in the 2nd edition of the book "Climate Change and US Law".

Rob previously spent nearly 22 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). He calculated and predicted emissions from factories, vehicles, and off-road equipment. That led to predicting concentrations of air pollutants for the Bureau of Air Quality using computer models. For several years, Rob was the primary forecaster for southcentral and Lehigh valley regions of Pennsylvania, deciding if days meet the parameters for air quality action days. He served as an executive policy specialist in DEP’s policy office advising the governor’s office and department executive staff on a variety of environmental and public health issues.

While working for DEP, Rob attended Widener Commonwealth Law School in the evenings. He graduated cum laude, earned certificates in both environmental law and administrative/constitutional law through Widener’s Law and Government Institute. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Rob worked in software development and systems administration. While serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, he commanded a combat engineer company and earned the U.S. Army Parachutist Badge jumping out of airplanes.

Rob is an avid hiker, serving on the board of directors of the Keystone Trails Association. He is also certified scuba diver and dived on shipwrecks in the Atlantic as well as local lakes and quarries. He travels extensively with his wife, Juliet, and is sure to get a few hikes in during his journeys. (https://www.pennfuture.org/rob-altenburg)

Rob currently also serves as the President of the Mechanicsburg-North Rotary Club.

RCWS Meeting - Sue DuMars, Easterseals
Apr 16, 2026 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

I joined ESWCPA in the fall of 2023. The first 25 years of my professional life were spent coaching volleyball first at Loyola University in Baltimore and then almost 20 years at York College. After leaving the athletic world I wanted to get more involved in my community. Easterseals is the second non-profit I have worked with, the first being Community Progress Council.

I currently volunteer on Monday evenings at the downtown YMCA instructing the girls intramural volleyball program and am a member of the Uptown York Rotary Club and The Women’s Networking Group.

My husband Steve and I met at Juniata College and have been married for 34 years. We have lived in the same house in York since 1992 and raised four children here: Nicholas, Luke, Jake and Georgia. We are empty nesters with our kids living all over the country, Sacramento, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Raleigh.

RCWS Meeting - Jennifer Wilt, NAMICPPA
Jul 16, 2026 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Jennifer brings deep leadership experience and a strong commitment to mental health advocacy. She has served as President of the NAMI-CPPA Board of Directors for the past four years, providing steady guidance, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication to our mission. Under her leadership, the organization has strengthened its governance, expanded its impact, and positioned itself for sustainable growth.

In addition to her work with NAMI-CPPA, Jennifer serves on the Governor’s Behavioral Health Council, where she contributes her expertise and perspective to help shape behavioral health policy and systems across Pennsylvania. She has long been a strong advocate for peers and family members, ensuring that lived experience and community voices remain central to decision-making.

Jennifer’s transition into the Executive Director role reflects both her deep understanding of NAMI-CPPA and her passion for advancing mental health education, support, and advocacy in our community. We are excited for this next chapter and look forward to the leadership, collaboration, and vision she brings to this NAMI affiliate .

RCWS Meeting - Tiffany Ayres, Keys to Bee
Aug 20, 2026 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Tiffany Ayres worked in the veterinary field for more than twenty-five years in an array of leadership positions.  For several years as a Regional Operations Manager, she worked with hundreds of teams, providing guidance, support, and training.  She also taught management courses at York Technical Institute, she offered management consultation services for Zoetis Animal Health, and she presented management topics across the country for Fred Pryor Seminars.   In the early 2000’s, she took up beekeeping as a hobby and over the years it developed into a deep passion as she helped mentor other beekeepers.  In 2023, she founded Keys to Bee, Inc. and achieved her Masters in Beekeeping from Cornell University.  To aid beekeepers in the region, Tiffany was awarded a USDA grant to establish an online training platform to support beekeepers in their first few years of managing bees.

Today Keys To Bees offers all audiences education on the honey bee and other pollinators.  From youth to adults to business organizations, the delivery is different, but the messaging is consistent; delivering the message of environmental sustainability and the importance of all of our pollinators.
