Jack Dyson is the Mission Developer for Youth in Transformation in Cape Town, South Africa. The NGO works with students from kindergarten through their senior year of high school. In a country where only 40% of students graduate from high school, Youth in Transformation has a 95% graduation rate. He started with YIT since September 2022.

Gladys is his wife of 45 years. They have two children. Beth is married to Ben, and they have a son and a daughter. Steve is married to Anjali, and they have a daughter.

Jack leads the Mission Development for Youth in Transformation in Cape Town, South Africa. He leads three teams per year to work with the kids there. He gets a lot of hugs from the kids and enjoys watching the Americans on the trip be filled with awe and gratitude.

Jack grew up in Dundalk (please don’t hold that against me) before moving to Westminster.

He has a BA in Psychology from McDaniel College.

Jack worked with Young Life in Frederick and York, PA for 12 years. Then he worked as the Director of Small Groups and Outreach for seventeen years. He was a Physician – Patient Liaison with AeroCare for a number of years.

For fun, he runs Diamond Memories Tours, putting together baseball tours around MLB. He has taken 13 people to all 30 stadiums and he has been to all the stadiums at least twice. Yes, he is an Orioles, Ravens, and Baltimore Colts fan.
