who keeps crashing our meetings and talking about this “best kept secret” that Bim insists isn’t really a secret?
Matthew Wagner is the Executive Director for Family Promise Harrisburg, which means he has the best job in the world. He gets to help his community support families and individuals experiencing homelessness, or at risk of being homeless, on their path from homelessness to home.
He likes to think outside the box and problem-solve, which have been invaluable in the decade he’s worked in the nonprofit world, first as a consultant, then on the communications side, before getting into fundraising. Now he’s combined all those experiences for the last almost two years as Executive Director of Family Promise Harrisburg.
Matt lives in Mechanicsburg with his long-suffering wife Lisa, two amazing boys, Russ and Nathaniel, and the ruler of the roost his dog Princess Magnolia of Brindle, Warrior Princess, and Rodent Destroyer.
In his spare time (as if) Matt enjoys helping with Nathaniel’s Scout troop and following his beloved Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.
