Grieving can take on many forms for every individual and the timeframe can look different as well. Trauma can also be experienced in many ways and manifest in ways that are unfamiliar and confusing to process. Ed's goal is to help people on their journey towards healing.
Ed is a Corporal with Lower Allen Township Police Department and has served his community for 19 years. He comes from a family of first responders. Since 2019, he has been part of a critical incident/peer support team.
Ed has his Master’s in Social Work from Shippensburg University. He has received training and certifications in suicide intervention, trauma informed principles, crisis intervention, and psychological first aid. He also completed EMDR training in March 2023.
(EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing - is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.)
