Senator Greg Rothman
Pennsylvania's 34th District
Greg Rothman was elected to the State Senate in November 2022 to represent the people of the 34th Senate District, which includes Cumberland and Perry counties and northern Dauphin County. He previously represented the 87th Legislative District in the House of Representatives.
Rothman chairs the Senate Game and Fisheries Committee, which helps manage and protect the commonwealth’s natural resources and considers legislation affecting hunting, fishing and conservation, and is vice chair of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs committee. His also a member of the Appropriations, Communications and Technology, Finance, Intergovernmental Operations, and Transportation committees.
He is the former president and CEO of RSR REALTORS, where he began as a real estate sales agent in 1989. Under his leadership, the company grew to become one of the largest real estate businesses in Central Pennsylvania.
Prior to his public service, Rothman enlisted in the Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm. He served nearly 10 years in the Marine Corps Reserve, rising to the rank of staff sergeant before being honorably discharged in 2001. His service led the president of the United States to appoint him to the National Veterans Business Development Corporation board to encourage veterans to start entrepreneurial ventures.
Rothman is a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Science degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
He previously served as a trustee at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg. He was one of the five founders of the Harrisburg Young Professionals.
Rothman is the proud father of five children.

Representatives from JFT Recovery and Veterans Support Services, the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, and Family Promise - Harrisburg Capital Region will be joining us to receive our club's donation to their respective cause.
In addition to a financial contribution, please consider responding to one of their specific organizational needs. Donations may be brought to the February 15 meeting. If you wish to donate an item (or items) but are unable to attend, please reach out to Bim so arrangements can be made in advance.
JFT Recovery & Veterans Support Services - currently looking for summer clothes and nonperishable food items for their Clothing Closet and Food Pantry.
The Rotary Clubs of West Shore, Yellow Breeches, Mechanicsburg-North, and D7390 Passport will be hosting this business networking event open to ANYONE regardless of Rotary membership. Sponsors include: Host clubs, Rolls Royce Museum (venue), AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union, McKonly & Asbury, and Fairway Independent Mortgage of Mechanicsburg.
This FREE event will include light snacks, wine, beer, soft drinks and water.
A formal part of the program involves giving each attendee one minute to give an overview of their organization or project and who their ideal customer is. This can include organizations the attendee volunteers with that may be seeking financial and staff support. Membership in Rotary is not required. Everyone is welcome! Rotarians are encouraged to bring family, friends, co-workers and anyone who has a desire to network with great people at a great venue!
Under a new strategic partnership, Rotary and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) are launching the 'Community Action for Fresh Water' initiative, focusing on the protection of freshwater ecosystems.
