Melinda Rosario is a Community Disaster Program Manager at the American Red Cross. She oversees the implementation of the full disaster cycle in a 6-county area of Central PA and manages a team of 200+ staff and volunteers. She has deployed to 20+ nationwide disasters.
Ms. Rosario’s educational background includes a BS in Education from Lebanon Valley College, Family Development Credentialing Certification from Temple University, and Strengths Based Family Worker Certification from Syracuse University.
Previous professional experiences include serving as a Care Management Supervisor and Certified PA State Child Welfare Worker providing direct investigation and assessment of child and elder adult abuse/neglect/fatalities. Her early career was as an Alternative Education Teacher in the public school system.
