The bench is in!
Earlier this week, we received word from Camp Hill Parks & Recreation that the park bench purchased by our club was installed near the playground at Siebert Park.
The plaque on the bench reads:
In memory of Rotary Club of West Shore Rotarians who lived a life of
"Service Above Self"
If you happen to be over at Siebert Park, I hope you'll find your way over to the bench and spend a moment reflecting on all that's been accomplished over the years by past RCWS members.
“THE CHILD MAY NOT REMEMBER, BUT THE BODY REMEMBERS.”
What a powerful quote from the makers of the film RESILIENCE. Join us as we spend an hour watching the film followed by a panel discussion with mental health experts.
We also need club members to help spread the word about the event. Share it with family, friends, colleagues, your school, church members... you get the idea. Mental health is everyone's business.
(Club members should let Erin know if you plan to attend)
Leadership Harrisburg Area Central PA Volunteer Fair
Let's grow our club! The RCWS will have a table at this event so we can share what it is that Rotary does, and what it is that our "small but mighty" club can do. Who knows? Perhaps we can recruit a new member or two!

Take away bold ideas about how to improve your club experience, your community, and the world from breakout sessions at the Rotary convention in Singapore.
Breadfruit, a starchy fruit long a staple in the tropics, is attracting new interest globally as farmers and scientists search for crops that are hardier while still nutrient dense.
