June 18 Club Picnic Day
We will have a club picnic on June 18 in Negley Park (the upper pavilion, specific time TBD) to celebrate another fruitful year of community service under the amazing leadership of outgoing president Amy Hall. We will welcome Joan Erney, our new president and look ahead into another year full of service.
Hotdogs and hamburgers, rolls and fixings will be provided by the club, as well as beverages.
Guests, family (spouse, children, significant others), potential club members, all are invited. Please RSVP by June 11 here. Any grillmasters in the club who would like to volunteer to barbecue please indicate that on the RSVP form.
We look forward to celebrating our club together!

Join the District's Lithium-ion battery recycling initiative
Rotary Club of Carlisle – Sunrise in a partnership with Redwood Materials in Carson City, Nevada, will be collecting and recycling lithium-ion batteries and rechargeable devices. Join us on Saturday, 16 May 2026 between 10AM and 4PM at the Army Heritage Education Center Parking Lot (950 Soldiers Dr., Carlisle, PA) and bring your discarded lithium-ion batteries and rechargeable devices including smartphones, tablets, electric toothbrushes, laptops, power tool batteries, lawn equipment batteries, rechargeable vacuum batteries, wireless headphones, and any other lithium-ion battery and help close the loop.
The recycling company working with Rotary (Redwood Materials) will provide appropriate containers for collecting the batteries and cover shipping costs to the recycling center. Rotarians provide labor and enthusiasm!
Far from the vaccination front lines, the fight to end the disease begins in everyday spaces, from a neighborhood pub to a commuter train to a tulip field. At the center of it all, no surprise, are enterprising Rotary members just like you
